ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia — May 8, 2026 — The Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX) is pleased to announce the official admission of First Addis Investment Bank and Siinqee Investment Bank as trading members. The awarding of their Trading Membership Certificates marks a significant expansion of the exchange’s ecosystem and a vital step toward a more competitive and efficient capital market in Ethiopia.
Following their licensing by the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA), both First Addis and Siinqee have met the rigorous operational, technical, and regulatory requirements set by ESX to operate as licensed intermediaries. As trading members, these institutions are now authorized to execute trades, facilitating investors’ access to the exchange, and provide expert financial services that bridge the gap between capital seekers and investors.

The certification of these firms will increase the number of ESXs trading members to 7 (Seven).
