Ethiopian Securities Exchange Welcomes Awash Capital Investment Bank S.C. and Gadaa Securities Dealers S.C. as New Trading Members

ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia – January 23, 2026 The Ethiopian Securities Exchange (“ESX” or “the Exchange”) is pleased to announce the official admission of Awash Capital Investment Bank S.C. and Gadaa Securities Dealers S.C. as its newest Trading Members. Their onboarding brings the total number of trading members on the Exchange to five, marking another significant milestone in the continued development and operationalization of Ethiopia’s capital market ecosystem.

The admission follows the institutions’ licensing by the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA), and admission by ESX confirming their institutional and operational readiness to serve as trading members of ESX.

As certified trading members, Awash Capital Investment Bank and Gadda Securities Dealers are now authorized to facilitate securities transactions conducted on the Exchange. Their participation is expected to accelerate market activity by serving as bridges between investors and the Exchange.
